One Thing I Learned About Failure

One thing I've learned from listening to entrepreneurs is that failure is rarely the opposite of success. More often, it's part of getting there.
We usually hear entrepreneurial stories after someone has succeeded. We hear about the big idea, the growth, the funding, or the moment everything took off. What we don't always hear about are the ideas that didn't work, the customers who said no, the mistakes that cost money, and the moments when founders questioned whether they should keep going.
Those experiences can be some of the most valuable.
A failed product can tell you what customers don't want. A bad decision can change how you approach the next one. Even rejection can force you to rethink your pitch, your product, or sometimes your entire business.
The entrepreneurs I find most interesting aren't necessarily the ones who avoided failure. They're the ones who were willing to learn from it.
One thing I learned: Failure only becomes wasted effort when you fail to learn from it.
